The 1st “February Flowers Prize” award ceremony was held in Shanghai on October 29. Zhou Bo, deputy mayor of Shanghai Municipality attended the ceremony and addressed it. Wu Jianying, executive director & general manager of Haohai Biological Technology ranked in the prize winners list.

February Flowers Prize” is the first round of “incentive payment for encouraging entrepreneur innovation” in five years given by Shanghai Pharmaceutical Profession Association in order to encourage entrepreneurs to have a creative mind and create innovation atmosphere and innovative culture of the industry. It is titled with “February Flowers Prize” planning aiming to set up innovative atmosphere and drive the innovation course of Shanghai pharmaceutical industry by praising and honoring the innovative entrepreneurs of the member enterprises.

February flowers are lead of other flowers.” by Zheng Banqiao. “February Flowers” are a harbinger of spring blossoming in freezing February implying that innovative spirit of entrepreneurs should be ahead of the time. Requirements for finalists include new technology, new mode, new business type and new industry.

It’s said that more than 40 entrepreneurs applied for the prize. Finally, ten excellent entrepreneurs won the prize through two links of scientific preliminary assessment and expert review, and two procedures of publicity and president conference approval.

Innovation is the eternal theme of enterprise development and core quality of entrepreneurs. Haohai Biological Technology will step forward steadily led by the entrepreneurial spirit with innovation to get development, said Dr. Wu Jianying.
